I really enjoy the widget. I keep it as the first thing I see when I slide the menu down. Allows me to actively track my data usage. I have not busted since getting the app.

I am two weeks in using this app to monitor my carrier usage and it seems well thought out. The Notification widget is convenient and customizable even!

I used to go over my data limit for the month and the mobile company would charge an arm and a leg for the over limit amount. Well that stopped when I got this app. Im glad I downloaded it.

Keeps doing a great job helping me stay in data plan limits and identifying apps that are consuming lots of cell data. Simple tally of usage, clear projection for month-end. Keeps up with OS upgrades just fine.

But should have the option of usage percentage based on download only (my kind of plan) than only download plus upload usage percentage.

I have been using Dataman for a couple of years now and I love it. I do wish it would get the daily and monthly maps back

Some bad moments

Everything is set up properly, plan, billing cycle etc. Yet, the app currently says Im at 53% usage while my provider just texted me that Ive incurred $10 in overage charges already this cycle. Disappointing.

It should have a feature to stop the cellular data when limits reached, one more main thing it missed was how much data did each app use during the hour , it gives you a bunch of app and their usage all together. We need to know what did each app use to be able to stop using the app with high data consumption.

What happened to the data usage breakdown by app? That was very important information! Now I just get usage per every second hour, per day, etc. Not so helpful for identifying the main sources of data drainage.

The main reason I bought this was so that the app would let me know when I cross certain data usage thresholds. This does not happen. Ive even written support and they were less than helpful trying to solve this issue. Dont buy if you want this feature

I spent $5.79 I believe on the premium version. It used to be very useful as it tracked data by app per hour. This app was great but with this update they took that key feature out. Ill be getting my money back. Update: Apple refused to refund my money. I was digitally defrauded. ( along with every early buyer that did the upgrade).

Removing the data-usage-by-app information renders this a pretty vanilla usage app. Its not terrible, but its nothing special. Likely wouldnt have bought the present version (my provider has a similar app thats free).
