very good app just wish it had more detail of the data usage per app.

This is exactly what you need if you dont want to burst your data cap

So heres my rating. Thanks for spamming me to rate an app I paid for.

Dataman tracks overall data, but does not report by app, so it isnt useful in tracking down specific data hogs. The built in iOS Cellular data settings do a better job of that.

The title says it all really. I have no complaints about this app. It works as described and is really handy to have monitoring your data usage. I love being able to pull down my notifications and see how close I am to my limit. You dont even have to open the app!

This App is spot on when compared with my carrier. It simply does what is advertised.

Love this app and its accuracy. The only thing that would make it better would be to have the ability to keep track of multiple iPhones in the same plans usage of a shared data plan.

Simple, and accurate

Still not what i expected... I posted a review before (which is at the end of this review). I had to buy (again)this new version and was loving it until now that they made some updates with iOS 9. It used to show even what apps where used by hour and amount of data used, now it doesnt do that anymore. Personally i liked that and now that is gone, im thinking on see if there is another app out there that does that. I mean i like this app but that feature was great and now they removed it -------------------------- I had an older version, the 8 (which i pay for it too) and then started to have some issues. Emailed to the developers and they said i had to buy this new version, personally i didnt liked the fact that i pay for it and then they made me pay again for a new update they did... Anyway i ended up paying for this new version and is the same as the old one, and yet having troubles. The percentage keeps lacking even though i have the app open, i need to actually open in the screen the app so it can update the percentage, so im not happy for repay for an update of the app that still not works. Other than that, the app is ok. And used to help me a lot, now it kinds of buggs me that i have to keep checking constantly the app so it can update the percentage.

I got this to see what apps were using data and it does that but provides no details. It shows you by the hour which apps are using the data but it doesnt tell you how much it is using and you cant tell which ones used cellular data and which ones are using wifi data. It also randomly shows apps that arent even loaded on the phone using data. It really isnt worth $5.99, there are other apps that do the same for less.**update: with iOS 9 update it no longer shows which apps are using data. They claim it is because Apple changed the privacy policy. For whatever reason I paid $5.99 for a feature that as taken away and I have the same functionality as the free version.

Very helpful app when you have limited data

I keep my Verizon data plan at .5GB (in order to avoid high bills) and this app helps me do that. But Im still evaluating.

This app use to work fantastic but through the latest updates of either the IOS or the app, it no longer updates in the background. Through verifying through my provider my tracking was 2gb off. When I looked through the daily/hourly log, it only pulls the data from the hour it is when I bring the app up. Whats the deal?

I like that this app breaks down data usage by day and time but to be truly useful you should be able to see which individual apps are using the most data on any give day and hour. You should at least be able to toggle between cellular and wifi usage to see what apps are using which type of data. Also, background refresh doesnt work.

This is fantastic and very handy. Very well organized with a simple interface. And a very useful app that can save you money by helping to ensure you dont go over your data plan. Whats not to like about that?! I recommend getting the more expensive version of this app given its added features.

Very useful. I keep the app on my main home page so I can check the badge for unusual usage. Note that if you share a plan with other significant users, youll want to tell this app you have a smaller plan (based on the fraction of the larger plan you expect to use). For example, if you share 3GB with two others, you might each want to tell the app you are on a 1GB plan, then check with the others if you get close to 1GB.

This app is great and has helped me managed all 4 phones that I have hitting one data plan. Get it, you will love it.

The widget is pretty nice, too.
